Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Clinical, Medical and Health Sciences follows a structured peer-review process intended to evaluate the quality, originality, relevance, methodological soundness, and scholarly contribution of submitted manuscripts.

1. Submission

Authors submit manuscripts through the journal's online submission system.

Authors are expected to confirm that the manuscript is original, has not been simultaneously submitted elsewhere, and complies with the journal's ethical and submission requirements.

2. Editorial Screening

Each submission undergoes an initial editorial assessment.

The editorial team evaluates:

  • Relevance to the journal's scope

  • Basic manuscript quality

  • Originality

  • Ethical requirements

  • Completeness of submission

  • Compliance with author guidelines

Manuscripts that are clearly unsuitable for the journal may be rejected without external peer review.

3. Peer Review

Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation may be sent to qualified reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on factors including:

  • Originality

  • Scientific quality

  • Methodological soundness

  • Clinical or scholarly relevance

  • Validity of conclusions

  • Quality of presentation

  • Appropriate use of references

  • Contribution to existing knowledge

4. Editorial Decision

Following review, the manuscript may receive one of the following decisions:

  • Accept

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

Authors may be requested to provide a detailed response to reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript.

5. Final Decision

The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief or designated editorial authority.

Reviewer recommendations are considered as part of the editorial decision-making process but do not automatically determine the final outcome.

6. Confidentiality

Manuscripts and reviewer reports are treated as confidential during the editorial and peer-review process.

Reviewers must not disclose or use unpublished information obtained through the review process.

Peer-Review Model
