Artificial Intelligence Policy

The International Journal of Clinical, Medical and Health Sciences recognizes that artificial intelligence and related technologies may be used in scholarly research and manuscript preparation.

Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical standards of their submitted work.

Artificial intelligence tools must not be listed as authors because such tools cannot take responsibility for the work, approve the final version, or respond to questions regarding the integrity of the research.

Authors should disclose the use of artificial intelligence tools when such use materially contributed to the preparation, analysis, generation, or modification of the manuscript or research content, according to the journal's requirements.

Authors remain responsible for verifying information generated or assisted by AI systems, including references, data interpretation, factual statements, and scientific conclusions.

Reviewers must maintain manuscript confidentiality and should not upload confidential manuscripts or unpublished material to AI systems where confidentiality cannot be assured.

The journal may request additional information regarding the use of AI when necessary to assess the integrity and transparency of a submission.

This policy is aligned with the current principles described in the 2026 ICMJE Recommendations concerning responsible use of AI in scholarly publishing.
